Prenos in Bolingbrook

Finally had the chance to have them- and I wasn’t disappointed. Their food is great! I love their fries, they are salted to perfection but not too salty. The gyros have more than enough meat, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The inside is clean and they are in the holiday spirit with the Christmas tree. They do have a bench that is broken, so I would say they need to get that fixed for those who want to sit down and eat. There are others but in the event they are busy, that broken seat will have a negative impact.

Bolingbrook doesn't have many local places as good as Preno's. I've had a great experience every time I've eaten here. It's a local institution, really - quality food in a fuss-free environment.

I love this spot! They serve first-cleass food, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is a specialist, I love very much tasting all their food. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the clients is friendly. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all.

Was looking for an awesome gyros place but unfortunately, this wasn't it. Not only did they lack flavor, they were expensive.

Pretty good place for a quick, greasy fast food lunch. Pizza puffs and fries are good.

Never again order two hotdogs with fries see the owner lady in the back smoking a cigarette two feet from the fryer and grill.Gets up to make my hotdogs grabs my food no gloves didn’t wash her hands!Nasty!!!Smoking is nasty now you cigarette yellow fingers are touching my food!!!!!!!Never again!!!!I didn’t know it was 1980 and you can smoke by peoples food....

Great staff with the food to match! Went in a couple of times and was taken care of like I was the most important customer to the business. I ordered fries during lunch and they were fresh and was provided many sauce options! Highly recommend.

Been here a few times. I always get the gyro platter so can't comment on the other menu items. The portions are huge and tasty. It's a real basic place and that is what I like about it. Whenever I am in the area I stop in. It is a real nice change from the cookie-cutter, prefab chain lunch spots.

Food good but a little bit pricey for portions. They messed up the order on guy in front of us and our order. But they made it right.

Great gyro dinner.. Portion came withe xtra pita and was enough for 3 people. Like the guy at the liquor store said "Best food in town"

Too long of a wait. It took 35 minutes for a cheeseburger and Philly steak, then barely any meat on the Philly. It might as well have been a grilled cheese on a Hoggie bun but the cheese wasn't melted. 1st time going here and also last.

I'm happy to support small businesses, but this place makes it hard to do that. No website, no accurate menus online (the one I saw was several years old, and they don't serve the first two items I requested), and they have no physical menus to take home. The food was tasty but incorrect, and since I'd already used up my 30-min lunch, there was no way to fix the problem except to accept half off my next sandwich. Not terribly impressed...

It's always a great eating experience. Great variety but the GYROS are all I need to turn an average week into a great one!!!

It had been a few years since I had food from prenos. My recollection was that it was good. I was wrong. I ordered the gyro sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The gyro sandwich did not come with any gyro sauce, did not state that it didn't have sauce on the sandwich. There was an option to add a side of gyro sauce for an extra $1, but who thinks a gyro sandwich comes dry? Next, 3 of 6 mozzarella sticks were empty, no cheese. Plus, they are the cheaper more cardboardy mozz sticks rather than classic sticks with a crumbly outside. Dissatisfied.

Quick service..small place..but ok

Went here for lunch. Service was very slow took like 40 minutes to get my order I would not recommend. Food wasnt all that good either.

I got a gyros,but the onion rings was only about 5 of them they we're over cooked burn too crunchy I called them and next time I go again I get a free order of onion rings

If you grew up in The Brook and went to Jane Adams Middle School this was an iconic restaurant. We loved the huge serving of french fries, the greasy pizza puffs, double cheeseburger and the gargantuan gyros! All though I still love going to Prenos it is not the same as it used to be... The prices are a little high, but you never walk away hungry. The food is very very good! I give my be loved Prenos 4.4 stars.

They always have great food

went there this past Wednesday for some lunch around 2ish. wrost place ever, there was 1 guy ( customer) eating, i get to the counter i hear people talking i say hello and nothing. stood there for about 5 mins, that was a waste of time, rude, and definitely incompetent to even be open. never ever going there again. Sad thing it would of been my first time there too.

The double cheese 🍔 burger was delicious , the service was 👍 great!! The young lady that served me showed customer service matters and was very friendly!!!
